Oldham Council is asking residents and interested parties to have their say on proposals to extend North Chadderton School.

The plans include a new science block extension, a new sports changing room block, incorporating an educational classroom, the re-location of the existing library and improvements to an existing car park.

The extension would help accommodate an additional 30 places per year and the council would welcome comments on the development before an application is submitted for planning permission.

Plans for the proposals will also be available at Chadderton Library, Burnley Street, Chadderton, OL9 0JW.

For further information and to view the proposals visitwww.oldham.gov.uk/northchaddertonextension

The closing date for submissions is Wednesday, 2 June 2019.

A drop in session to view the plans and talk to school and council staff is being held on Wednesday, 22 May 2019 between 5pm to 7pm at the school.
