Shoppers were treated to an afternoon of Gospel Music in the Oldham town centre recently.
The Christmas concert was staged as part of a joint collaboration between Gospel Rock, Manchester Gospel Fest and the churches of Oldham.
Among the popular songs performed were ‘Silent Night’, ‘Away in a Manger, Christ was born on Christmas Day’ and many more.
Founder of Gospel Rock, Joseph Belibi hailed the event a great success, adding: “It went really well and even the rain stopped for us, which was a miracle, although it started again around 4pm but we were finishing off then.
“Shoppers stopped and watched. It was held at the same time as the Winter Wonderland show in the town centre and the performers joined in with us which was a great community event.”
