First Choice Homes Oldham (FCHO) is celebrating winning a hat-trick of trophies at the town’s prestigious business awards on Friday night.
The housing association won Business of the Year in the £5m+ category, Supporting Young People and the Workforce Health & Well-being Award at the Oldham Business Awards.
The accolades announced at the black-tie ceremony held in The Loom caps off an impressive two weeks for FCHO.
It received top marks from the Regulator of Social Housing last week for how it is run and its financial stability.
And late last month, the planning greenlight was given for its biggest ever development of 147 affordable homes at Southlink in Oldham.
“Everyone at FCHO is buzzing at the moment and these three awards are really the icing on the cake of a great two weeks,” said chief executive Mark Gifford.
“I would like to thank all my colleagues for the tremendous work they are doing to make FCHO a good housing provider, a great place to work and an integral part of Oldham.
“It's really important to receive this recognition in the town where we are based, where the majority of our houses and customers are and where we are working hard to make a difference to our communities.
“It was a great awards night for us and a proud one for Oldham too because many other businesses were celebrated for their great achievements. Many congratulations to all who were involved."
