Firefighters have been working tirelessly to contain a large blaze at an industrial building in Oldham overnight.
Crews from Oldham and Rochdale attended the fire at the site on Bell Street, at around 3am today.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: “At around 3am on Wednesday, September 24, fire crews were called to reports of a fire at an industrial building on Bell Street, Oldham.
“Six fire engines from stations across Oldham and Rochdale, as well as the aerial ladder from Stretford, were quickly mobilised to the incident. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels to extinguish the fire.
“Fire crews remain at the scene alongside partners to make the area safe.”
