A cyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being involved in a collision with a tram in Oldham on Monday evening (December 16).
The cyclist, a 25-year-old man, was struck by the tram at the Oldham King Street Metrolink stop at around 7.40pm.
A spokesperson for the North West Ambulance Service said he was taken to Salford Royal Hospital as a major trauma patient, meaning he had serious injuries.
Transport for Greater Manchester said emergency services attended and tram services were suspended between Oldham Mumps and Westwood stops while the man was treated and taken to hospital.
