A 13-year-old boy was rushed to hospital with severe injuries after a road traffic collision in Oldham.
Police attended the accident involving a car and a pedestrian on the A62 Oldham Way, just after the junction with Prince Street, at around 9pm on Friday, March 7.
Emergency services attended the scene, and the teenager was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A 39-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He remains in police custody for questioning.
GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
They are also keen to speak to anyone who may have any footage, including dashcam, mobile phone footage from the area in the moments leading up to the collision.
