Oldham Library is set to host a special event this weekend to celebrate local writers and emerging talent.
Oldham Born N’ Read is taking place on Saturday (November 2) from 11am to 4.30pm.
It will display library books written by the people from Oldham – whether that’s established or emerging talent.
Authors, including Phaedra Patrick, Jacqueline Ward and Kirsty Greenwood, will be attending the event so visitors can find out more about their books.
The Mayoress of Oldham, Councillor Ginny Alexander, will be in attendance from 11am to midday.
It’s at the Oldham Library and Lifelong Learning Centre on Greaves Street.
