Police are investigating after an armed robbery at a Post Office left a man with injuries.
The victim, in his 50s, was seen to by paramedics at the scene on Oxford Street in Werneth at lunch time yesterday (Thursday).
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “There was an armed robbery at around midday yesterday. A man in his 50s was injured and was seen to by colleagues from North West Ambulance Service.
“We arrested a male in his 20s on suspicion of robbery and has since been released on conditional bail today.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
