A music legend inspired the 1st Mossley (St George’s) Guides to strike a winning note.
The girls’ carefully researched project about the life of John Lennon earned them the divisional challenge trophy, competing against several other Guiding groups in Stalybridge, Dukinfield and Mossley.
It was a further success for the 1st Mossley Guides, after they had been crowned the top team in the annual sports day held at Micklehurst Junior School.
