Winter clothing available at pop-up event in Gamesley

Winter clothing will be given away for free to those who need it at a pop-up event in Gamesley on Monday afternoon (4 October).

It will take place at Cafe Jericho on Winster Mews from 3pm to 5pm.

It's being held by Glossop-based The Hummingbird Hubs, designed to support people in the community who have been affected by poverty, homelessness, and austerity.

There will be winter coats, gloves, hats and scarves for children and adults, as well as wellies, winter shoes and boots.

There will also be a free children's book and toy stall.

Anyone who has any winter items to donate can contact Jo Gregory on 07748 067 169 or Hazel Atherton on 07832 925 377 to drop beforehand, or bring items to the event on the day from 3pm onwards.
