Volunteers from Edale Mountain Rescue Team went to the aid of a walker who had taken a tumble while walking in the High Peak on Saturday (4 September).
Whilst hopping down from a rock step in Castleton the casualty heard their ankle crack and was unable to weight bear.
The injured walker was treated at the scene and transferred to an ambulance and taken to hospital.
