A total of 21 members of Kinder Mountain Rescue Team went to the aid of a walker who slipped while walking in the woods above the campsite in Hayfield.
A couple had been walking in Elle Bank wood on Friday afternoon (14 January) when the woman had fallen and injured her ankle.
The MRT were able to confirm their location using the SARCALL PhoneFind and were quickly on the scene.
The injured woman was taken to hospital for further treatment.
