Two volunteers from Hadfield Community Speed Watch pulled on their hi-viz jackets and spent an hour clocking speeds on Padfield Main Road.
They were there from 3pm to 4pm on Tuesday (5 July).
Of the 153 vehicles that went through, none were exceeding the 40 miles per hour limit.
Offenders would have received a warning letter and statistics are said to prove that 90 per cent of them do not re-offend within the next 12 months.
