Police have seized a vehicle in Glossop after stopping it on Simmondley Lane following an Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) alert.
Officers from the Glossop Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out the stop on the vehicle during patrols in the area.
Following checks, the driver was found to be driving without a valid driving licence or insurance.
The vehicle was subsequently seized under Section 165 of the Road Traffic Act.
Glossop Police said: “Driving without a valid licence or insurance is illegal and puts other road users at serious risk. These checks help keep our roads safe.”
