The A57 Snake Pass was closed for several hours between Glossop and Ladybower after a collision involving two vehicles at the weekend.
Derbyshire Police say they were called to reports of a two-vehicle collision at around 3.20pm on Saturday (28 January).
The collision involved a Renault Twingo and a Skoda Superb.
A spokesperson for the force said the driver of the Renault and a passenger in the Skoda were both taken to Tameside Hospital for treatment, though their injuries are not thought to be serious or life-threatening.
The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the collision.
