Two more life-saving defibrillators have been installed in Glossopdale.
One is located at Dinting train station, which is dedicated to the memory of Freya Kershaw’s dad Andrew Michael Kershaw - known locally as Kosh. The cash was raised by SADS UK in memory of Andy.
Meanwhile, a second defib has been installed at the Pear Tree pub in Hadfield.
Landlady Tina Mcguinness raised the money for it and Tony Doyle, who set up the Glossop Community Defibrillator group, got the best value for the machine.
Hadfield South borough councillor Ed Siddall’s Initiative Fund paid for the box to secure it to the wall, while electrician Rob Clarke installed it.
Cllr Siddall said: "Tina has been fundraising for a while. I agreed to pay for the box and Tony arranged to buy the machine through his group which means we didn’t haven’t to pay VAT on it.
“The importance of defibrillators has been highlighted through sports people suffering from heart problems. We can save lives with these machines. They’re easy to use and paramedics will talk you through what to do."
