Glossop's firefighters have again issued a plea to drivers to 'think before you park' after they were stopped from reaching a fire.
On-call firefighters from the Whitfield Park station were called out to a rubbish fire in Hadfield on Easter Sunday morning (17 April).
But because of parked cars on the street blocking access for the fire engine, the crew had to proceed on foot.
A spokesperson for Glossop Fire Station said: "Thankfully this wasn’t anything serious as the crew would have been delayed in responding to it due to parked cars.
"Please think before you park. Think how you would feel if we couldn’t respond to your emergency due to bad parking."
It's not the first time Glossop Fire Station has had to issue such a reminder to residents about inconsiderate parking on Glossopdale's streets.
