A teenager needed hospital treatment after a fight broke out between two groups of men in Whaley Bridge.
Police were called to reports of a disturbance on Buxton Road at around 10pm on Saturday night (4 July).
Witnesses said two groups of men - one group being from the town and the other being from Stockport - were fighting in the street.
A 17-year-old boy from Stockport required hospital treatment after being struck in the face.
Police say no arrests have yet been made.
A number of vehicles stopped at the scene and police are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident – especially any drivers with dashcam footage of the scene.
