Glossop and District Branch of the Embroiderers' Guild's next meeting is Wednesday (February 26).
It's at Glossop Cricket Club on North Road, from 1pm to 3pm.
Rachael Singleton will give a talk called 'A Stitch in Line' and will display some of her work.
Rachael is an experimental textile and mixed-media artist, who draws inspiration from the landscape and uses photographs to help capture micro-landscapes and textures.
Visitors and textile students are welcome.
Admission, which includes refreshments, is £2 for members and £3 for visitors.
There is disabled access to both floors.
