Staff shortages due to Covid-19 have impacted bin collections across the High Peak this week.
High Peak Borough Council has reported that a number of collections have had to be postponed today (Wednesday).
These include green bin collections in Chapel, Chapel Milton, Chinley, Crowden, Glossop, Hadfield, Hayfield, Hyde, Little Hayfield, New Mills, Padfield, Simmondley, Tintwistle and Wash.
The council say it will be providing further updates later in the week about catch-up works.
Wednesday’s disruption follows problems reported earlier in the week with green collections in Buxton, Chapel, Chapel Milton, Combs, Fernilee, Tunstead, Whaley and Whitehough.
Information about bin collections is available on the council’s website at www.highpeak.gov.uk.
