Speed cameras in the area

Cameras clocking speeders and other motoring law breakers could already be on a road that you drive on.

Derbyshire Crest (Casualty Reduction Enforcement Support Team) has published its latest list of mobile camera check sites.

Of the 60 spread across Derbyshire - from now until March 1 - some are in our area.

Sites include: the A57 Dinting Vale, Glossop; Glossop Road, Gamesley; Marple Road, Chisworth; Buxton Road, Chinley; St John’s Road, Buxton and Baslow.

Crest admit their units won’t be in any particular area at any particular time but they will be paying a visit.
