See some contemporary jazz in New Mills

Audiences will be treated to contemporary jazz with a twist when Quinta Jazz perform in the High Peak on Friday 16 June. 

Featuring Mike Dale (saxophones), Bob Dinn (trumpet), Barry Mansfield (piano), Warwick Stephenson (bass) and Huw Owens (drums), Quinta will be playing at Spring Bank Arts in New Mills.

Their wide repertoire, from Theolonius Monk, Dave Brubeck and Clifford Brown, to the contemporary sounds of Kenny Wheeler and the early 60s funk of Wes Montgomery, also features music from South Africa and original compositions.

Quinta have been playing for many years in the Manchester area and have featured at the Didsbury Arts and Congleton Jazz and Blues Festivals.
