Scones of Praise at Holy Trinity Church starts up again on Friday following the summer break.
Everyone’s invited to an afternoon tea at the church on Dinting Vale at 2pm, followed by singing well-loved hymns.
Holy Trinity will also hold a coffee morning on Saturday at Bradbury Community House on Market Street in Glossop, between 10am and noon.
There will be all the usual stalls and refreshments.
In readiness for the autumn chill, the church is having a meal of homemade soup and rolls followed by a short service next Friday (September 27).
What will be a regular ‘Soup Night’ starts at 6.30pm and once again everyone’s invited.
