Police hunt pick-up truck on suspected false number plates

Derbyshire police’s Rural Crime Team are appealing for information about a ‘suspicious’ pick-up truck seen in the High Peak.

The purple 4x4 Isuzu D-Max was spotted overnight on October 9 and 10 around Dove Holes, Peak Dale and Hargatewell with the number plates FX10 FWC.

“It is suspected to be on false/altered number plates, and we are keen to identify it,” said a statement from the force.

“If you spot this vehicle or have any information that may assist in our investigation, please contact us quoting intel reference IN24000193063.”

You can get in touch with the Derbyshire Constabulary by calling the on-emergency 101 number, or anonymously by contacting the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
