A man was taken to hospital with minor injuries after police received reports of concern for his welfare.
Police say he had allegedly entered a home, a shop and tried to open a door of another property on Dinting Vale.
Nothing had been stolen and nobody was arrested.
Derbyshire Constabulary were called following concerns for the man's welfare at around 6.30pm on Saturday evening (17 July).
Officers attended and found the man in the area.
Police added that enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances of what happened.
