A man was arrested for a string of robberies in Tameside after a chase by police.
At around 7pm on Wednesday night (October 11) Tameside Neighbourhood officers arrested a man on suspicion of multiple robberies in the area.
Two constables spotted a man who matched the description of a suspect who has committed two robberies from vulnerable victims earlier in the month.
After a short chase on foot a 27-year-old man was detained and remains in police custody.
The Neighbourhood Crime Team at Tameside also believe the arrested man is responsible for a theft from a person that took place on October 9, at Aldi in Stalybridge.
