Police appeal after motorcyclist is killed in crash on A54

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal crash near Buxton.

The force wants to hear from anyone who may have dash cam footage of the collision on the A54 near Buxton.

The single vehicle collision, which occurred at around 12.35pm on Thursday, April 18, involved a Suzuki motorcycle. The rider of the motorcycle, a 63-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A police spokesman said: "His family are aware and our thoughts are with them at this time.

"We are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision, and anyone who has any dashcam footage.
