Burglars were disturbed when they attempted to break into a house in Simmondley.
Between 1am and 1.15am on Tuesday morning (9 August) unknown offenders gained entry to the home on Simmondley Lane.
The offenders were disturbed and then made their getaway from the area - leaving the scene in a vehicle which is believed to have been a grey coloured Ford Focus.
Police are appealing for any CCTV/dash cam or door camera footage that may cover the area and at the relevant times.
They also want to speak to anyone with any information about the break-in.
