A planning application has been put forward for a new Tintwistle Community Hub.
The proposals are for the demolition of the existing wooden building that is in a deteriorating condition and replace it with a purpose built new single storey hall.
The new building would be twice the size of the exiting building and would serve as a Parish/Community Hall/Bowling Club facility.
If given the go-head the new property would feature a large main hall, a separate meeting room, a kitchen, and toilet facilities. A total of 12 car parking spaces would also be provided.
The application has been submitted by Tintwistle Parish Council.
The plans are available to view on the council’s website www.highpeak.gov.uk
