The proposed new cricket pavilion at Tintwistle Cricket Club has taken a step forward with detailed plans submitted to High Peak Borough Council.
The application is to replace the existing outdates wooden pavilion with a new building which includes a modern light and user-friendly club house space as well as upgraded changing facilities for plyers and umpires.
In a statement, Tintwistle CC said they are hoping that their designs and ideas will be well received by the village, especially local residents.
“We are always open for a chat at the club if anyone has ideas or concerns just give us a shout. We are also working with a number of local trades to ensure the work is managed locally and this really is a local project,” they added.
The plans are available to view on the council’s website www.highpeak.gov.uk
