Plans for a permanent luxury glamping site have been submitted for land off Long Lane in Chapel-en-le-Frith.
Under the proposals put forward by High Peak Retreat, there would be 15 glamping units, five motorcaravan pitches and associated facilities including an activity yurt.
The glamping units would be a mixture of yurts, glamping pods and shepherd’s huts and would be moved when the site is closed for the season.
Documents have been put forward in support of the application giving evidence that there is demand for such a facility, that would be low impact and low density.
The application is available to the view on the council’s website at www.highpeak.gov.uk.
