Plans are already shaping up for a festive bonanza in the village of Tintwistle.
Tintwistle Parish Council is organising the 'Tinsle Christmas Market'.
It's due to take place on Sunday 12 December at the Sexton Street Playing Fields from 11am to 4pm.
There will be lots of stalls from local businesses, homemade crafts and gifts, festive singing, refreshments and much more.
There will also be a Christmas dog competition, hosted by High Peak Paws.
The entrance fee will be 20p or a donation of your choice.
Proceeds raised will go towards funding the village's new community centre.
