Planning application for houses in Gamesley has been withdrawn

The planning application for 51 homes on land at the rear of Cottage Lane has been withdrawn.

The developers would be tearing up part of the woods at the back of the houses on Cottage Lane, causing disruption to local residents but also to nature and the well used bridal and public path.

Council officials have however been advised that the application has been withdrawn due to technical issues with the application and will likely be resubmitted by the applicant once those issues are resolved.
