Another defibrillator has been bought by a Glossop business to help save lives in the town.
The Pilates Studio launched a fundraiser last year to buy one for their premises at The Old Sawmill in Surrey Street.
They started their fundraising campaign in October 2021 by raffling a 12-week Pilates course worth £132 for £5 a ticket.
Their client base raised £1,054 and a donation from Glossop Rotary Club added a further £100.
London Hearts provided the equipment and gave a charitable donation of £300 towards the campaign. The Pilates Studio made up the balance.
The Studio has taken delivery of the defib and are now waiting for a cabinet to arrive.
The lifesaving equipment will be available during the Pilates Studio’s opening hours.
When the cabinet is installed, it’ll be there for anyone to use 24 hours a day and will be registered on the NHS defibrillator network.
