Part of Chapel bypass to be closed for resurfacing

Drivers are being warned about the closure of part of the Chapel bypass over three nights. 

Derbyshire County Council is closing the westbound side between Bowden and Bridgemont roundabouts whilst resurfacing work takes place.

The road will be closed from 6pm to 6am on Friday 1, Monday 4 and Tuesday 5 October.

It's part of the authority's programme of work to improve roads across the county. 

The county council says diversions will be in place and apologises for any inconvenience caused.
