A former Glossopdale School student is celebrating after landing a place to study at Oxford University.
Leah Rimmer (pictured) is currently studying for her A Levels at Ashton Sixth Form College, after completing her secondary education at Glossopdale.
She has now received an offer to study history and economics at Balliol, Oxford.
Leah studies economics, history, maths and the EPQ at Ashton.
She is one of four students at Ashton Sixth Form College to have been offered a place to study at Oxbridge after studying on the XL course at the college.
The college’s XL programme supports and guides students through the rigorous Oxbridge application process.
