In the upcoming weeks, there will be a transfer of 323 trains from West Midlands Trains to Northern Rail.
Another sixteen units are scheduled for transfer, and ultimately, all of them will undergo a rebranding with Northern's blue and grey colour scheme.
The transfer of trains is because of a proposed initiative to enhance services on the Glossop line, with the aim of reducing congestion during peak hours.
