More memories of the floods that devastated Glossopdale in 1944 which followed two days of heavy rain that turned streams from the hills into raging torrents.
The Junction Inn, where Primrose Lane and Dinting Vale meet, was marooned by a swirling sea, that swept branches, logs from Turn Lee Paper Mill and debris onto the busy A57.
