Unpaid carers looking after family members or friends can now listen to a new podcast offering practical advice, support and real-life stories from carers across Derbyshire.
‘Caring Out Loud’ has been launched by Derbyshire Carers Association and Get Wise and has been created by carers, for carers.
The podcast brings together honest conversations and personal experiences, alongside information designed to help carers feel more connected and better informed about the support available to them.
The first episode - ‘What is a carer?’, is available to listen to now, with further episodes looking at support available to carers and how to let services know you are a carer.
New episodes will be released over the coming months, exploring different aspects of caring and the challenges faced by people supporting family members and friends.
