High Peak man Craig Taylor has been fined £175 by Stockport magistrates for failing to stop when an accident occurred and damage was caused to another vehicle.
The 38-year-old, of Poplar Avenue, New Mills, pleaded guilty to the offence.
It happened on Marple Road in Chisworth on June 21 last year.
His driving licence was endorsed with five penalty points and he must also pay £85 court costs and a £34 victim surcharge.
