Plans for 20 new shared ownership homes to be built on land at New Mills Football Club have been withdrawn.
The application by City Heart Homes Ltd was due to go before High Peak’s Development Control Committee on Monday (13 February) and was recommended for refusal.
The controversial proposal for the land on Church Lane in New Mills to build 10 two-bedroomed and ten 3-bedroomed homes had prompted various objections from a number of local residents and Sport England.
