A new defibrillator is to be installed in the phone box in the middle of Charlesworth village.
The Parish Council are currently working on the siting of this potentially life-saving piece of equipment which has been donated by Northern Rail.
The North West Ambulance Service have suggested once it is fitted and working the equipment at the Village Club is moved further down the village.
