Following the huge success of April’s inaugural event in Buxton, Jon Pearce MP is to host High Peak’s Second Careers, Skills & Jobs Fair in Glossop this Friday (10th October).
The fair will run 10:00am-1:00pm at Glossop Cricket & Bowling Club, North Road Glossop, SK13 7AS. A dedicated Neurodiverse Hour (10:00am-11:00am) will provide a quieter, more relaxed environment for attendees who prefer it.
More than 45 exhibitors are confirmed, representing local, national and international businesses, trainers and organisations - including Google, Street Crane, Manchester Airport, the Army, and the NHS - alongside colleges, skills providers and community organisations.
Visitors can:
- Meet employers and training providers with real vacancies and courses
- Get advice on CVs, interviews and career pathways
- Learn about apprenticeships, re-training and upskilling options
