A motorcyclist is understood to have sustained a broken leg after crashing into a railway bridge on a main Derbyshire road.
It happened at around 4.30pm on Sunday afternoon (10 April) off the Buxton - Ashwood Dale stretch of the A6.
A Derbyshire Police spokesperson said the force was called just before 4.50pm to a report that a motorcyclist had collided with a wall.
The bike subsequently set on fire and the motorcyclist was dragged away from the bike by people who stopped their vehicles to help.
