A 55-year-old man has been charged with possession of a gun in Glossop on Friday (10 March).
It relates to an incident at a property on High Street West.
Derbyshire Police were called at around 7.50am and a section of the road near to The Grapes pub was closed for around two hours.
Christopher Cattermole, of High Street West in Glossop, has been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence in connection with the incident.
He appeared at Manchester Magistrates Court on Saturday (11 March) and has been remanded to custody.
A large police presence and forensic teams were seen at the property over the weekend.
