Glossop Mountain Rescue Team assisted a 30-year-old man who had fallen at the top of Yellow Slacks ridge, near Mossy Lee Farm in Glossop, this morning (Sunday).
The team were called out at 10.47am by North West Ambulance Service to help the man.
The male was treated by an air ambulance paramedic at the scene for neurological complications.
GMRT members, whilst adhering to strict Covid-19 protocol, carried the man a short distance to the helicopter which flew him to Wythenshawe Hospital.
GMRT were stood down at 11.46am.
