An arrest was made in Glossop as police carried out overnight burglary patrols.
Officers from Glossop Police Safer Neighbourhood Team and Group 3 Response were on patrol throughout Glossop and the surrounding areas overnight on Tuesday (28 June) into Wednesday (29 June).
Consisting of vehicle patrols and officers on bikes, the patrols were targeting burglars and potential thieves.
In the early hours, a male was arrested in the Glossop area on suspicion of burglary.
Police say he remains in custody and enquiries are ongoing.
