We bring you our latest round-up on planning applications in the High Peak.

The following planning applications have been approved by High Peak Borough Council:

  • Garage conversion and drive widening, 3 John Walton Close, Glossop.

  • Change garage to form habitable room, 29 Links Road, Chapel-en-le-Frith.

  • Change dwelling to one dwelling and one holiday let, 4 Lake View, un-named road from Calico Lane to Lakeview, Furness Vale.

Meanwhile, High Peak Development Control Committee is being recommended to approve a planning application from Mr and Mrs G Wharmby.

The plans are for a ground floor rear extension to replace a conservatory and a first floor extension over an existing garage, that will be rebuilt, at Thomas Street, Glossop.

Councillors are also being recommended to give the go-ahead to an application for two industrial units with associated off-street parking and landscaping, adjacent to Sheffield Road, Chapel-en-le-Frith, for Natural Stone Surfaces Ltd.
