It's back! The McRib returns to McDonald's after nearly a decade

A beloved item is set to return to the menu at McDonald's - the much-missed McRib.

The legendary sburger returns on October 1 - nearly 10 years after it was removed from the fast food chain's menus.

McDonald’s said decided to bring back the savoury favourite ‘following fan petitions and countless social media pleas’.

But the bad news, is the sandwich will only be available in limited quantities - so once it's gone, it's gone.

The burger - made with pork, barbecue sauce, pickles and onions was a favourite since its first appearance in 1981 but customers haven’t been able to get hold of one in the UK since 2015.
