Backdrops of the iconic Peak District feature in singer/songwriter Heidi Anne's newest ballad.
The accomplished singer’s latest release is called ‘True to You’, a song that tells the story of having a true soulmate. It is the follow up to her single ‘Shadow Crimes’, a European Dance chart-topping favourite.
With 10 years’ experience writing her own songs, this single is close to Heidi’s heart, the video featuring her hometown of Hayfield in the Peak District and the mammoth mountain, Kinder Scout.
“When we were thinking about doing the video, I thought what better place than the place that I live in, and decided to film the video in the Peak District,” explained Heidi.
“I really got lucky the day we chose to film. It was essentially the last day of summer 2020 and wow, what a send-off,” she says.
Heidi Anne also works in the healthcare profession, doing 40 hour weeks. She describes it as ‘something totally different, it’s such a transition to go from music to that, and it keeps life interesting.’
The future looks bright as she works on her album.
“I’m just hoping to keep building and if people are enjoying what I’m doing then that’s the main thing for me.”
